Project: Strategy Game

About
"Project: Strategy Game" is the first larger project that I'm working on. Most strategy games are incredibly complicated, making it difficult to get started and even more difficult to become good at the game. However, when you search for more casual, simpler strategy games, you often end up with games that either lack strategic elements or that require you to wait for ages until you can make progress. I want to make a game that keeps those interesting, strategic elements, while still managing to be simple enough for anyone to enjoy without having to go through tons of tutorials.
Follow me on itch.io to get updates on the development and give the prototype below a try!
The game takes place in a medieval setting on a randomized map. You gain control of a small city with only a few resources, but don't worry, by using customizable units you can construct new structures to help you gather more resources and grow your city. You can trade goods with other cities, build districts in your own city and fight off bandits attacking your units on their journey. Enjoy!
